Snowshoe itineraries

With an average altitude close to 1,000 m / 3,280 ft, the Hautes Combes area is ideal for snowshoe excursions.
Come and discover a variety of sign-posted unmarked itineraries suitable for everyone.
Snowshoe walking does not require any specific technique and can be practised by anyone. You just walk normally, without placing your feet too far apart, bringing your knee up a little so as to lift the front of the snowshoe off the snow.
To use the groomed pistes, you must purchase a “Pass Balade” (snowshoe and pedestrian itineraries) from the Information Points in Lajoux and La Pesse or at the start of the pistes.
